About IQAC

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Jiadhal College was established in the year 2021 with the primary objective of maintaining, monitoring, and enhancing quality in higher education. The IQAC acts as a significant quality sustenance mechanism of the institution and functions continuously to ensure academic excellence, administrative efficiency, and holistic institutional development. It plays a vital role in creating a system for conscious, consistent, and catalytic improvement in the overall performance of the college.

The IQAC functions as a nodal agency for coordinating all quality-related activities of the college. It promotes the adoption and dissemination of best practices, maintains documentation of institutional activities, collects and analyses feedback from stakeholders, and organizes workshops, seminars, and awareness programmes for quality enhancement. The Cell also assists in preparing and submitting the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) to the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and actively participates in the process of assessment and accreditation.

Functions and Activities of IQAC

IQAC serves as the central repository for maintaining records of all academic, administrative, co-curricular, and extension activities of the college. It also maintains individual files of teachers containing records related to educational qualifications, service details, research activities, and curricular contributions.

The IQAC scrutinizes the Academic Performance Indicator (API) scores of teachers during promotion processes and forwards its recommendations to the Principal for necessary action. This helps maintain transparency and quality assurance in faculty performance evaluation.

For sustaining quality enhancement, the IQAC works in close coordination with various committees and cells of the college such as:

The IQAC collects feedback from stakeholders including students, teachers, guardians, and alumni. After analysis of the feedback, it prepares reports with suggestions for improvement and submits them to the Principal for consideration and implementation through the Governing Body.
