Jiadhal College, established in 1995, is one of the premier institutions of higher education in the outskirt of Dhemaji Town in the district. The college is located at a suitable position between railways and motorways and communicable from many distant and near places through a crises cross of streets and 8 Kms. from Dhemaji Town on N.H.15 towards direct west and takes turn towards direct North from Jiadhal Chariali Bazar Point. The need of a higher educational institution in flood ridden rural Jiadhal was long felt by the intelligentsia and the people ofthis place for reaching out to a large section of students from different ethnic communities of this backward area. As an academic destination, the college primarily aim at providing advance knowledge and higher education to the learners of this vast and economically backward area on the door step and low cost. . 
The college campus spreads over a sufficient stretch of land about 25 bighas.
